eleventh translation // action
[It's a nice day. The air is warm, the sun is out, and one Lieutenant Uhura is out with it, in full force. She's eschewed her winter uniform for one better suited to warm weather - that's right, she's back in her Starfleet-issue miniskirt, hips swaying, ponytail swinging, black boots crunching on the ground as she walks purposefully from the house.
Normally, she'd be heading towards the library, but it's far too nice a day for that. She does have a book under her arm, but she's heading for the bridge, clearly ready to get some fresh air.
In spite of the recent rash of disappearances, and violence, she's determined to enjoy the weather while it lasts. She may even be humming to herself.]

Enough so that he easily and gracefully avoids bumping into the woman he comes across. Violet eyes look up at her.]
Sorry. [It's muttered but at least he said it.]

No problem. You might want to try holding your head up, though. Less chance of accidents.

[At least not ones that involve running into people.]

I used to think that, when I was about twelve years old. But suit yourself; it's far too nice a day to be arguing, anyway.

And it feels great.
...and what is this? A fine lady o'er yonder? Now he gets a great view to go with his river-basking! Ahhh the fates are occasionally kind after all.]

Guy sits up and waves cheerily.] Good afternoon! Fine weather we're having, aren't we?
[Action]
Beautiful. It's only tarnished by perverts.

What happened with you?

Nothing, as far as I know. Aside from it being a nice day.

Care to join me? I wouldn't mind company, and it'd be better than following me around like a creepy stalker.

Can you really blame me? [ He asks as he emerges from behind the door. ]

Do you think you can protect me from the big scary bad guys roaming Luceti?

fff I KNEW there was something I meant to tag with Arumat
\o/
Hello, Arumat. [She has a good memory for names and faces, and anyone who reminds her as much of Spock as Arumat does is bound to make an impression, anyway.]
Keeping busy?
/o/ this is so wrong on Arumat's account
No thanks to whoever is responsible for the deaths of those civilians.
[He's armed with his scythe as usual, but this time he's got it turned on and ready for a fight should the need arise. Killing innocent civilians is kind of a sore spot for him, so he's taken it upon himself to conduct a sort of patrol of the village.]
hehe
I do wonder what the purpose might be of bringing in people who are clearly unstable. It's possible there simply isn't a purpose, and it's all totally random, but I suppose I'm an optimist who wants to make sense of the world.
